Founder & Managing Director
Mike Sherwood received his B.A. in Computer Science from Bowdoin College in 1997, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Betta Kappa. After graduation, he worked on Enterprise projects as a consultant and began consulting independently the following year.
For Mike, the idea behind Base36 was simple. He found that he loved bringing brilliant and enthusiastic individuals together in order to tackle challenging problems. In fact, assembling teams of passionate technologists and watching them complete punitive damages san diego exceptional feats was so rewarding that Mike decided to start a company that does just that. Base36 was established in 1998.
As the managing director, Mike manages client relationships. He works closely with leading technical managers, coming to understand both their technical and interpersonal needs.
In his spare time, Mike power paraglides and can be found teaching this unique sport as a USPPA instructor. He also enjoys whitewater rafting, kayaking, and playing poker.
