In 1994, with a fresh ovarian cancer diagnosis, Jane Staley realized there was a lack of cancer support groups in Southern Maine. Four years later, with the help of businessmen, community leaders, oncology professionals and cancer survivors, Jane opened the doors of the Cancer Community Center.
The Cancer Community Center offers free classes, activities and support services to those with cancer, as well as their family and friends. As a corporate sponsor, we are proud to support a center that creates a sense of community for those touched by this awful disease.
