Description:

Gages and tests beams as needed by production, microscope work required. 

Accurately assembles, installs, and performs electronic diagnostics to procedure. 

Correctly repairs defective units.

Regularly informs supervisor of potential inventory shortages of commonly used parts.

Correctly adjusts and modifies circuits and components.

Accurately reads writing diagrams.

Continually gains technical product knowledge and application engineering know-how on all Montalvo products. 

Maintains extremely neat, orderly, and well-organized inventory storage of electronic components and assemblies, as well as transducer products. 

All other related assignments as required.

Requirements:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
