DevOps Engineer I 
Are you a DevOps Engineer looking for a great new opportunity? Our Portsmouth, NH client is poised for growth and ready for you to join their team. This client has a startup feel with a global presence.

You will work with developers and teammates in troubleshooting problems, identifying resolutions, and assessing situations in real time. The team is empowered to keep the fast-paced, high volume processing environment operational.

Day in the life: 
Maintain several systems using Chef and AWS OpsWorks
AWS experience with Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks, RDS, and various other services
Build, maintain, and use modern CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (and/or GitLab)
Experience managing source control/repositories (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
Must collaborate well with architecture leads in designing and developing systems
Obsessive attention to detail and correct operation of all systems
Monitor software and systems to detect issues with New Relic, CloudWatch, and Kibana
Provide production support for various teams and systems within the company
Share on-call responsibility with other team members to ensure 24×7 availability of services
Work through correcting and building tools internally within the team
Work with developers, and QA teams to ensure reliable delivery of our projects

Must haves:
3+ years’ experience working with JavaEE 
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Jenkins
Configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Docker containers in Elastic Beanstalk or Elastic Container Service
TCP/IP, ICMP, SSH, LDAP, DNS
Linux / Unix
SLA management
Strong programming abilities in at least two languages (Ruby, Groovy, Python)

Nice to Have:
Good knowledge of infrastructure as code a plus (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
