Tim Baylies graduated from Husson University in 2004 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems Technology. As he points out, education is somewhat of an ongoing trend in his life. Last year, he received his New Hampshire Teaching Certificate in Comprehensive Technology and he is currently working towards both a Technology Integration Certificate for teaching and an A+ certification in Hardware/Software.
Tim splits his work time three ways. For over the past fifteen years, he has been a computer consultant, solving all sorts of technical issues – everything from hardware repair to eCommerce work. Since 2008, he has also worked as a comprehensive technology teacher in New Hampshire’s school system. He assists teachers with technology curriculum integration and, with all of this, still finds time to work with Base36.
Tim joined the Base36 team in 2008 as a talent sourcer. He works outside of the box, beyond the usual sourcing sites, in order to bring us fresh talent.
In his spare time, Tim can be found enjoying a New England sports game, playing league sports, traveling, or pulling apart computers just so he can put them back together.
