This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognized leader in the genomic research space. In this position, you will work under general supervision to practice animal room maintenance and operations. Here, you will be responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency in general duties in the work area to include the movement of supplies, disinfection/sanitation, and barrier entry/exit and safety procedures. This position will require you to wear PPE and be in close contact with mice. 

This position is critical to this client as it is ensuring their mouse business model is operating at the highest level of cleanliness and ensuring the overall care of their mice. Maintaining animal health standards and animal care is of the upmost importance for the person moving into this position. 

• Transports clean and soil supplies through materials airlock

• Provide materials to Animal Care Technician workstation 

• Constructs and deconstructs clean and soiled caging material set ups 

• All aspects of room sanitation

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• Ability to wear PPE

• Work with a wide variety of individuals 

• Be a team player

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision
