Our client is looking for  Temporary Desktop Migration Technicians to join their team to support and migrate current Windows 7 users to Windows 10.  This will be a 3-6 month contract. 

• Deploy and support of the Windows production environments 

• Installs and maintains operating system and related applications to meet user requirements and to ensure stable performance

• Understands and applies the customer service skills needed for each engineering scenario.

• Understand the components of the client's Desktop environment including PC, Antivirus, Software Deployment, Printing, File Shares, GPOs, Logon Scripts, OS Deployment, and any other aspect of the end user space.

• Active with hands-on management and execution of large-scale Desktop deployments with our preferred desktop management tools.

• Will be required to assist with a project that is pertinent to Desktop hardware and software maintenance. 

• Uses internal, manufacturer, and industry documentation to complete duties. Works in collaboration with peers to develop and update documentation for IT processes and standard procedures

• Provide metrics relating to Windows Upgrade program teams to managers to ensure visibility of trending achievements.  

• Experience working with both Windows and Mac

• Possess and apply broad knowledge of IT principles, practices and procedures to the completion of difficult assignments.  Must follow ITIL Processes.

• Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities as well as multitasking
