Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and analysis of information security system(s) established to ensure the protection of the organization’s corporate and customer data.
• Position works closely with the Information Technology Team in a monitoring and advisement capacity.
• Under limited supervision, individual will analyze, design, administer and manage related procedures; perform various risk assessments related to potential exposure areas for proprietary and customer data of the organization.
• Responsible for providing the day-to-day information security operational support, including implementation, proper maintenance and operation of various platform components and applications comprised within the Information Security/Information Technology Portfolio.
• Identifies network and/or system problems related to Information security components, isolates root causes, and initiates corrective action.
• Prepares various tracking and measurement reports to inform management.
Must haves:
• 7+ years of relevant experience in computer science/information systems field
• 3+ years in an information security
• FFIEC and NIST frameworks and guidance
Nice to haves:
• Security risk assessments
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience managing, documenting and coordinating and testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
• Knowledge of current threat environments and best security practices
• CISSP
• GIAC
• CISO
• BS / BA in applicable field
